While in Atlanta, I have already seen The Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet by the Atlanta Ballet, but this was my first ballet performance outside the Fox. I really enjoyed the concert space and felt closer to the performers because there was no orchestra between the audience and stage. …showed last 75 words of 1129 total…I really enjoyed the costume of Baron Von Roth. He was unmistakably evil with his shrouded face and bat-like wings. I was pretty amused when his head got stuck in the excess fabric of his wings once when he was twirling his arms. Overall, I really enjoyed the performance and I was glad I finally got to watch Swan Lake. The lack of polish did not really bother me but added an endearing authenticity.
