Just as his beautiful, perfect flowers had shone with radiance and basked in the glory of being beautiful, so did Paul.
A flower’s beauty does not last forever. Paul’s experience with high-class life did not last forever. Paul’s true happiness was limited to a few days, or so he thought. Paul’s life lacked love and support was substituted with the flowers that seemed to be the only means of his happiness.
