a much deeper meaning about Christianity. It said a lot about how no one is perfect and that sin is everywhere. This movie portrayed Christianity in a whole new light; it was portrayed as being the source of evil and insanity for Carrie’s mother. Christianity also portrayed evil and ugliness in Carrie. She was as innocent as a child but when she became a woman, that purity was gone and only sin was left.
