I am sitting at my desk with the fruit I’ve chosen placed directly in front of me. I’ve placed a pen and plenty of paper to right, which enables me to record all of my observations. Using all four of my senses (sight, touch, smell, and taste) as well as my thoughts throughout this exercise, I will try to make it clear what fruit I have chosen. When I was able to touch the fruit I began playing with it out of frustration and remembered things I normally wouldn’t think about if I were doing something I really enjoyed. In doing this assignment I’ve also realized that I must concentrate harder on what I’m doing as well as control my wandering thoughts regardless to whether I’m enjoying it or not.
