Hamlet: Was he insane or sane?
In Shakespeare’s "Hamlet", there are many events throughout the play that present a theme of madness. Shakespeare provides the reader with evidence concerning Hamlet's sanity beginning with the first scene of the play. He lost the two women in his life, and his father was murdered by his own uncle. That alone can cause a person to go insane, and that is why so many people believe he was insane.
