Geeks are generally social outcasts from mainstream America. The ranks of “geekdom” are swelled with science fictions fans, punks, perverts, programmers, nerds, and trekkies. These are people who did not go to their high school proms, and many would be offended by the suggestion that they should have even wanted to. …showed last 75 words of 368 total…the pep rallies and is highly involved in school spirit functions. Geeks are not the type of kids that are athletic; actually they are the most un-athletic. They are not the jocks of the school or the most popular kids. Geeks have friends but they don’t really seem to care about what people think of them as much as the “popular” kids do. A geek is not a “conformist sheep” in the herd.
