Our Trip to the Dekalb Farmers Market
On Tuesday April 3, 2001 we went on a field trip to the Dekalb Farmers Market to observe the interaction of different cultures. There are many different cultures working at the market and many different foods to buy.

Tofu- compressed bean curd that also had virtually no taste
Ø Curried lamb- this was very good
Ø Stewed eggplant- this was served in a sauce and was also very bland
In conclusion the Dekalb Farmers Market was a very diverse place where you can learn different cultural tastes, how they interact, and see many interesting foods not common to American supermarkets. The Farmers market’s goal is to unite many different cultures through food.
