did not cover in this essay, are still valid in today’s society of not only art but life in general. I consider “The Two Paths” to still be canonical today as throughout the book Ruskin makes a point to stress many of the foundations of art, and explains how these ideas are applicable to living our everyday lives. Ruskin was a man of old fashion thought but I believe his thoughts to be timeless.
