They have come a long way but for the Travelling community the road ahead is a long and winding one. However in contemporary society in Ireland issues of inequalities will always arise and seem inevitable. In an ideal world maybe someday Travellers might then have the experience of being treated and regarded as full, equal citizens of Ireland. We live in hope.
