the children thought she was screaming at a mouse. This again is another point when where the children have control over the teacher.
In the first three chapters Lee portrays Scout of having many qualities; she has a vivid imagination and is strong willed. This is shown when she stands up to the teacher in class. She is also a very friendly, innocent child who obeys her father and loves him to bits.
