In the month of June 1972, an incident took place that would carry severe consequences for President Nixon and his closest advisers. Five men were caught raiding the Democratic National Committee Headquarters in the Watergate Building in Washington, D.C.

the Clinton affair just recently. President Clinton was accused of obstruction of justice, just like Nixon, only President Clinton was impeached. In the beginning of 1998, Independent Council Kenneth Starr began an investigation to discover, or uncover, the President’s relationship with Monica Lewinsky, his intern. It turns out that Ken Starr’s report, along with the President’s grand jury testimony, gave congress enough evidence to impeach President Clinton for obstruction of justice, and perjury.
