George W. Bush spends almost $200 million dollars per year to fight the “War on Drugs.” You probably didn’t notice this because the only results we’ve seen have been in the form of misguiding commercials claiming that “buying drugs supports terrorism,” or “marijuana can get you busted”. But is it really worth it? Is he so naive that he thinks he can actually dent the lucrative black market drug industry?

There are no success stories, or numbers that show a decline in drug use, or availability. Legalize drugs and let parents be responsible for their children. Sell the drugs in government owned pharmacies with a marked up price, if someone wants to abuse drugs, makes them sign a waiver claiming all responsibility. If he messes up, he’s going to suffer, videotape him in his last moments and show THAT to children in public schools.
