I. The Ignorance of Education and the Media’s Influence
“The Vietnam War was a conflict between the United States and Vietnam, not a war,” these words swam irritably in my head as I cursed the arrogant Americans who denied the truth and never looked at the other side. Meanwhile, other dialogues floated in my memory:

impacts people’s comprehension of the Vietnam War. Unfortunately, the Vietnamese are voiceless in the media even though they were the winners of the war. We realized that history is not always written by winner. History is written by those who control education and the media. In our twenty-first century, the United States who cherishes freedom of speech, press, and liberty is actually holding dictatorial powers over both education and media and thus controlling history.
