back in 1900’s. It reminded me the stories I heard from my parents. Man had the power, and they forced women to do everything. I’ m glad that at the end Celie got what she deserved. I think The Color Purple is a really interesting book. While I was reading the book, I got all the emotional feelings that Celie got; I think this book is really powerful. I’m glad that I read it.
