In the poem, “To the Virgins to Make Much of Time” the author uses a flower to represent a woman, and a sun to symbolize time. The two words, women, and time are the two most important words. The whole poem is about a woman losing her beauty as time passes on. The author using these two symbols made the poem more intruding.
