Many young Americans feel the need to be accepted by their peers. Being an individual and not part of a group is a thing that many people will never experience in their lifetimes; chains of social acceptance enslave them. I sometimes wish that people could come outside of their façades and show themselves of to the world, and say, “look at me, I’m a person.” It is an injustice to keep yourself behind a wall, and not to show yourself at all.
