…showed last 75 words of 1342 total…to the destruction of a great ship and a massive loss of life that could have been avoided. What would have happened had just one of the things above been changed? The Titanic did not have to sink and those people did not have to die. All it would have taken to save all of those lives was the expense of a more safely built ship with enough lifeboat space for all of the passengers.
