For various reasons throughout history and throughout the world humans have been devastated by pandemics, epidemics, and endemics that have nearly wiped out populations entirely. Each country's population is affected by the HIV virus, but no country is as devastated by the virus as Africa. Through knowledge of prevention steps can be taken towards eradication of disease.
