In my opinion, economic inequality is the main downfall our society faces. Men and woman, old and young, all suffer this detrimental problem. But the one's who are of most importance are our children. Protecting them from this bleak reality is vital to our future. Caring for them and making them understand this problem will help the overall problem. If we don't solve this, then we can only hope that they will.
