Bob: What kind of government did you believe in?
Jefferson: I believed in state's rights. This means that states hold most of the power, such as controlling trade and coining money.
Bob: I have trouble understanding were you a federalist or anti federalist?

Jefferson: Well, both yes and no. Yes, because more paper money will be distributed and people will by their goods. However, the national bank will help those private investors gain more influence and the smaller farmers will be eventually wiped out. I don't agree with that because I feel most of the country's population should consist of farmers.
