Sometime around Christmas in the year 2004, there are plans to land a space probe called Huygens on Titan, one of Saturn's moons. To see if everything works as planned, the parachute system of that probe was tested at Esrange in May 1995. A copy of the probe was lifted by balloon to an altitude of 35 km and dropped, to see if the heat shields and the parachutes worked as planned.
