The police force is over worked, the taxpayers are spending extreme amounts of money to house these so called prisoners, and the government is losing money on marijuana prevention programs. If the government were to grow and keep tabs on marijuana, they could license it and then be able to pay off debts, and reduce violence-related to the drug. Legalizing marijuana for medical and personal use has been very controversial in past years. When will the relief of pain for the ill, reducing crime, making money and restoring forests be enough to convince the people and government that marijuana needs to become legal?
