characters have their faults, but we still enjoy watching them make mistakes and narrowly escaping the consequences. One is hard-pressed to not feel any remorse for the main characters as they are brutally gunned down. The connection with the characters helped make this film one of the most profitable and acclaimed films of its day. Critics may argue that the film is not historically correct, but they can’t claim that it isn’t entertaining.
