On many other topics and concepts the Romanticists and the Transcendentalists disagreed. One of these concepts is the concept of death. Another was the subject of God. However, despite all of this, the Transcendentalists did find their roots in Romanticism. Through the concept of life the Transcendentalist found his common "friend" and used this concept as the cornerstone for Transcendentalism.
