Many of the same events take place in today’s society, yet go unnoticed or looked over by some aspects because society has grown so accustomed to it all. Obviously, dysfunctional families have been around far longer than we may have previously assumed. The change over time has rather been the amount of such families, and the degree to which their existence seems to shock us.
