Once again Yugoslavia is in the mist of turmoil. The Kosovo Liberation Army, supported by most ethnic Albanians, is openly rebelling against Serbian rule. The tension in Kosovo is the result of explosive growth of the Albanian population. Although Serbs administer power over Kosovo, it is approximately 90% Albanian.
