the point of the story is hidden behind the title, The Demon Lover, and the fact that the narrator is very unreliable. One is made to believe that Mrs.Drover is alive, and that her ‘demon lover’ is coming to take her away from her mortal life. However, when one analyses the narrative, then it can be seen that the narrator is directing one away from the main point that I have illustrated here.
