I selected this work of art for several reasons. The first, being the cross in her hand. I believe a cross is a very significant symbol, a strong and important aspect of my life because of my catholic upbringing and faith. The second are her piercing eyes that pull you into her black mystique. Her eyes are a mystery, anyone who looks into them feels some sort of emotion.
