<Tab/>The Bolsheviks were able to successfully gain power in 1917, and with the leadership of Lenin, they managed to consolidate their power. Lenin was able to adjust the Party policy in order to abide by the needs of the general public in changing times. By doing this, the Bolsheviks successfully set up a Communist Government, and paved the way toward the foundation of the Soviet Union.
