…showed last 75 words of 425 total…ran towards the wall, climbed over and was shot in the back with a rifle. She was immediately taken to first aid, but it was to late. She had lost to much blood and died! In the end the outcome was very bad and Patty was no more. Patties mother was terrified, and Patties friends were petrified. The end was sad, and this book was sad but it taught me a bunch about World War 2.
