his informative, yet interesting book, Summer for the Gods. I think that the author kept the thesis implicit in this book, but the author does in fact convince us of the thesis. The author does this by examining all elements of the trial and the surroundings of the trial including the towns’ people. All in all, I think this book was worth reading and definitely displays an important issue then, now, and in the future.
