You are exposed to violence through TV and through video games, the major difference doesn’t come from whether you absorb the violence passively, or whether you participate in it. The true difference is in the parenting, our parents there for their children to tell them that violence is an impulse that cannot be expressed physically against other people? Violence is inherent, so we need an outlet for it.
