Introduction
In this project we are studying shopping and settlement hierarchies. This project aim is to find out where Lowestoft is on a shopping/Settlement hierarchy pyramid and if it is a middle order of the shopping hierarchy.
In order to do this, the following surveys were carried out:-
* Pedestrian count
* Questionnaire
* Land use map
These surveys will help us find out the aims of this project which are:-

…showed last 75 words of 2221 total…methods. The most reliable accurate data I got was probably from the questionnaires even though few people lied, but the majority did not, because this told us what people had bought, reasons, mode of travel, distance, so helped answer the Hypothesis.
To increase the validity of my conclusion I feel that I would of needed more people of different age groups to make my point of Lowestoft being a middle order shopping town more clearly.
