…showed last 75 words of 397 total…November 11, 1918, four years later than when she started to write this poem. "September, 1918" was a good poem to me by Amy Lowell. It was definetly an inspiring poem for someone who is looking for a brighter day or brighter future. She used colorful words to describe her state of mind and surroundings. Lowell created a perfect picture within her poem to compare the world of World War I to how she wanted to see it.
