Schizophrenia Schizophrenia is a psychological disorder. It is a serious mental illness affecting one in about a hundred. Schizophrenia usually develops in the late teens to early twenties, sometimes later on in life (Royal College of Psychologists). If developed early on in life it can be more devastating. …showed last 75 words of 1367 total…learned a lot doing this report. Doing this paper made me really see and understand this horrible illness. I feel for people who suffer or know someone who suffers from this disease. It is a terribly upsetting and complicated disease. Hopefully people are being helped who have it and more research is being done to find a concrete cause for this illness. Basically my research was consistent with what I learned in class about schizophrenia.
