1. Introduction Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, also known as SARS, is a new disease, which has its origins in Guangdong Province, China. SARS earliest cases have been identified in mid-November 2002. Since then, cases of SARS have been reported in 17 countries. The current number of cases of SARS is 2781 with 111 deaths . The global case-fatality rate for probable SARS is 4% .

In general I find WHO as a better website as for a layman like me it was a bit easier to understand where to find the information, which I am looking for.
As for CDC's website a non-layman, it will be a very good website as it provides with all kind of research material.
