Hard Candy, directed by Jamie Daugherty, was a somewhat impressive performance. After reading the play and then viewing it during a fourth period one act, I was impressed by their performance. I would consider this play a success, taking into consideration a low budget and a “rookie” cast. What I was thinking of as I read through the script was portrayed well by the cast. …showed last 75 words of 263 total…those waiting. The door was in the middle of the stage dividing the lobby and the office. The office was equipt with a desk for the interviewer and a place for the applicant to sit. The costumes of all the actors fit the personality of the character they were playing. The strict army man was wearing fatigues, the respected man was wearing a suit. All of the costumes said a lot about each specific character.
