Racism isn't all about color, it about the stereotypes that associate to groups of people and not individuals. In my own experience, I grew up in a white suburbanized neighborhood and my best friend was an African American male. He was in no shape a criminal, he excelled in school all of his life, which ended recently at the age of 22.
