about a century later the envisioned thoughts of Progressives (liberal) and what they were trying to accomplish seems the most logical. Basically the Progressives believed that by fighting the people on top they would to have the best results.
As time goes on historians outlook of this era of reform will change to ones different form the ones known today. On thing that won’t is the knowledge of the Progressive Movements motives and importance.
