Not only did it create a Phoenician culture and economy, but also created a medium through which culture and successive language could be transferred because of its gargantuan span and hardy influence over the Mediterranean. It is less of the actual language that the Phoenicians made that should be recognized and more of the meticulous network through which it spread.
