It was a peaceful Saturday morning in the village of Fagatogo. The salt from the ocean nearby and our vivacious anticipation filled the air. That morning my friends’ s and I journeyed into the forest, to an area I call “my secret place.” The sound of the ocean faded as we penetrated deeper into the forest, twelve impatient teenagers meandering over the trail and carefully avoiding the puddles. …showed last 75 words of 686 total…aroma of food cooking, tickled our nostrils and made us feel over powered by hunger as we gradually approached our beautiful Fagatogo. At the end of the trail, we all dispersed like droplets of rain, dancing on the ground and spreading outwards to our homes. As I lay comfortably on my bed reminiscing that night, my heart felt the desire to return to Paradise, but only dreams will have to suffice until the next visit.
