Othello then commits suicide. “ I kissed thee ere I killed thee. No way but this, killing myself, to die upon a kiss”(5,2,360). Othello is lagging behind most Shakespearian works in the comic relief department. The only comic relief is between Iago and Roderigo. Iago teases and manipulates Roderigo similar to a puppet.
