Osteogenisis imperfecta (OI) is “a rare genetic
disorder of collagen synthesis associated with broad
spectrum of musculoskeletal problems, most notably bowing
and fractures of the extremities, muscle weakness,
ligamentous laxity, and spinal deformities.”
