fight. The final literary device was the most important. Symbolized showed that sometime everyone and everything has an important part in making the story. The farm that was imagined made a dream for the ranchers while Candy's dogs death made him realize that he had to join them in getting the farm or he would be kicked out of the ranch like his dog. So everyone and everything fell perfectly into place in the end.
