main reason the French Revolution started was because of the government being unfair to the 3rd estate. Napoleon was able to fix the problem up and from that, France became prosperous. Although he didn’t encompass the idea of liberty, he did satisfy the people with equality and fraternity. The French Revolution destroying the Old Regime which allowed Napoleon to reconstruct what was left from it for the good of the people.
