My views on the controversial gameboard Ghettopoly.
The term "ghetto" is defined as a quarter of a city in which members of a minority group live especially because of social, legal, or economic pressure. The game name "Ghettopoly" technically applies to all minority groups, but African Americans are the primary group that is feeling offended. Why should the black society be offended by this at all? …showed last 75 words of 601 total…its materials, then there are many other forms of entertainment that need to be boycotted as well. Chang's intention was to create a game that he can enjoy, not to denounce minority groups. With all the criticizing publicity on this controversial matter, it is advertising the product as well. While it is meant to boycott the game, few individuals, such as myself, find the game interesting and would like to try it out for myself.
