Even though some of these aspects were not achieved in the Phom Mahakarn incident, the pride lies in the concept of civil society in which it directed the people to extra-parliamentary politics and informal politics, all of which stands for democracy. Although it unravels a small portion of successful democracy, it does however elevate Thai pride to a new level.
