My father grew up as the youngest and only boy in a family of six children. His father was an alcoholic, and his mother was deaf. One could say that this family was dysfunctional, but in the 1960’s, there was no such term, so my grandparents did the best they could at raising their children. person who influenced my life the most. He taught me that I could accomplish anything that I set my mind to. Even though we have had some rough times, I still love my father, and nothing could ever change the feelings I have for him. He is the greatest role model a child could have while growing up in a world so full of diversions from the path of righteousness. My father is my hero.
