There are significant differences between celebrities and heroes. Heroes deserve more awards than celebrities do. Everyday heroes such as policemen, firemen, doctors and teachers deserve awards for their service to the community. We must recognize them as heroes working towards the wellbeing of other people. Many everyday people deserve recognition for their service, and they should receive awards for their accomplishments. Although actors receive awards for their performance, they are not true heroes or stars. Everyday heroes deserve more recognition than the actors do.
