Martin Luther King Jr. was sent to jail on April 16, 1963. During this short time in prison he wrote a lengthy letter in response to a public letter from a group of eight clergymen who opposed the non-violent demonstrations that King had lead. individualistic, then of course you are going to stand up for yourself and pick out the problems in your community and point out the unjust laws. However, if you are one to stand by your community then you are going to live and abide by all the laws of the community, not a just a chosen few. So ask yourself one question, are you an individual or are you one to stand by your community?
